Activation of Shadow Auctions on DK1-DE
As a fallback solution for the Interim Tight Volume Coupling (ITVC) run by European Market Coupling Company (EMCC), CASC.EU shall perform explicit Shadow Auctions on the borders between Denmark West and Germany (DK1-DE-border) respectively between Denmark East and Germany (DK2-DE-border) in case ITVC fails and therefore has to be decoupled.
On the DK2-DE-border, these ITVC Shadow Auctions are already operational, whereas on the DK1-DE-border, they will be activated for production day 28th March 2012.
Energinet.dk, 50Hertz Transmission GmbH and TenneT TSO GmbH invite all market participants to be active in these ITVC Shadow Auctions.
Each Market Participant, who wants to be able to take part in the ITVC Shadow Auctions, has to accept the conditions stipulated in the ITVC Shadow Auction Rules for the concerned border(s) and has to sign the Declaration of Acceptance annexed to the ITVC Shadow Auction Rules.
All market participants, who haven't registered yet, however anticipate to take part in the ITVC Shadow Auctions on the DK1-DE-border and DK2-DE-border, respectively, are kindly requested to register with CASC.EU. If you are already registered for ITVC Shadow Auctions on the DK2-DE-border and want to register additionally for ITVC Shadow Auctions on the DK1-DE-border, please confirm via email to operations@casc.eu and update your Declaration of Acceptance if needed.
